I am a Masters in Public Policy Candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  Thanks to the generous support of the Women and Public Policy Program’s Nancy Germeshausen Klavans Cultural Bridge Fellowship and the Belfer Center International and Global Affairs Summer Fellowship, I will be working for a women’s rights NGO, Shuhada Organization, in Afghanistan this summer.  I’d also like to thank Harvard Law Scholar and former Carr Center Fellow Jasteena Dhillon – for her help and guidance throughout this process.

Shuhada has been operating in Afghanistan for 20 years.  Shuhada works in education, health, human rights, vocational training, relief distribution, and capacity building. For more information, please visit:  www.shuhada.org
